From the moment we arrived we had a fantastic time! The front desk clerk was smiling and very polite, she provided us with a map of the hotel showed us where we were staying and made us feel very welcome! She also made sure she put us in a nice room with easy access to the elevator. The water park was our sons favorite part of the hotel!(and the powdered donuts)

We've stayed in Mackinaw several times & this hotel was better than the others we've stayed in. Room was clean but shower spout was broken. We reported it and it was fixed in a few short hours. Very pleased with that! The breakfast bar had a nice variety, very clean and tastes good. We looked at the pool, splash pad area but didn't use either one for no reason other than it wasn't in our plans. The kids who were there seemed to be enjoying the splash/water pad but it might be a little much for kids under 5. The ventilation was terrible, the chlorine smell was awful so we left quickly after a few minutes. We wanted to see if it was nice for our young grandchildren but again, maybe if they were older. Overall it was a nice place to stay. Clean room, nice breakfast bar and affordable. We'd stay there again.

Rooms were nice. Huge hot tub and pool area. The waterpark water was too cold for our daughter to play in but she enjoyed the pool/hot tub. Staff was attentive and peofessional. Very convienient to ferries, shopping, bridge, and dinning. Would definitely stay again.

We travel to the western UP about twice a year to visit family and usually stay here either on the way up or back down with our two boys. They love the waterpark and all of its many features. The pool itself is always wonderfully warm and the hot tub is hot. The breakfast bar is delicious with lots of choices, though this particular stay we had to go across the street to the Hamilton Inn for breakfast due to being so early in the season. Rooms are well maintained and beds are very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Hamilton we were unable to get into the Crown but they were able to find us a room at the Hamilton and it was perfect. The staff was great. Although they were dealing with a guest when we were checking out that was unhappy. I felt they handled themselves very well and they were all very pleasant to us the entire stay. We would love to come back this Summer!

Upon getting into room and settling in there was no toilet paper in bathroom, had to ask for some at the front desk. Did not realize that breakfast was seasonal ( I probably missed that on the online registry). Housekeeping did an excellent job in cleaning up the dirty towels and replenishing the bathroom with soaps, etc., making beds, taking out trash, etc.

Great place to stay, our corner room started out very cold (it was near the end of November) but they quickly set us up with a portable heater. The water park and large pool were great for the family. Breakfast was served at a separate Hotel (it was off season) but the breakfast was a hot breakfast and was delicious and complimentary. The hotel staff were excellent in all capacities and give wonderful customer service. I will be happy to re-visit this hotel, and I look forward to doing so in the summer or spring when Mackinaw is at it's peak. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

The room was clean and comfortable. Our family loved having a kitchenette available. We enjoyed the choices at the breakfast buffet. The kids also loved the waterpark. The only thing I would change, would be to have the hotel provide unscented/fragrance free bed linens and towels. The fragrance in them was not overly strong, but after a three night stay I was having a reaction.

We reserved two rooms, and then when we got there they upgraded us to two siutes and kept the agreed upon price. We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed again on the trip back home (the next night) and aain they gave us the same prices and upgrades. Kids loved the water park and the breakfast. (Two suggestions-maybe have plastic bags in the room for wet clothes to be put in when people leave, and there was hairs (glob of hairs) floating in corners of the pool and hot tub. Kinda ewww). But we really enjoyed our stay.
