The room was Clean and quite right across the street is the ferry to Mackinaw island. The water park for is small but it is a nice waterpark. The free breakfast was pretty good lots to choose from. The only thing was no workers to be seen taking out the trash. The containers where very full I didn't like the fact that they used styrofoam for cups and plates. Other than that for the price it is definitely a bargain in Mackinaw city. Will stay there again cant beat the price.

Stay was very nice and comfortable. We arrived early and were able to check in and go to our room early as well. The fellow at the front desk was very helpful to us. He actually upgraded our room which was quite nice. Sitting area and a door in between that room and sleeping area. Beds were comfortable. Only negative is that the breakfast wasn't that great. Wasn't prepared at our time of arrival and not much choice. Perfect spot within the city. All within walking distance to shops, etc.

Had a little wait after posted check-in time until our room was ready. Other than that everything was nice! The kids loved the waterpark. Had no issue with walking across the road to the Hamilton for breakfast. Would definitely come again on a weekend during the off season!!

I always come up during the summer so this was a new experience although the snow was gone. The room was nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice having access to the water park too. The breakfast was good but I wish they had scrambled eggs but not a big deal. I hope to come back.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful whenever we stay here. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The pool, hot tub and water slides are always clean and ready to go. The maintenance crew does an excellent job keeping the water clean. Yes, during the winter you have to go across the street to the other hotel to have breakfast but it is worth it. There is a nice variety of hot and cold food and beverages. We have stayed here several different times summer, fall and winter. We have always had a positive and enjoyable stay each time and leave looking forward to the next stay.

Loved it, 2 minor issues...bundling up the kids to go across the street for breakfast and wished the pool opened earlier then 10...hard to keep a 2 and 4 year old entertained in a hotel room for 3 hours before the pool opens

We booked these rooms to meet our children as Mackinaw City is the meet in the middle for all of us. Becuase of busy schedules we were only to stay for one night and were disappointed that we couldn't check in until 4 pm (although the rooms were ready by 2, much appreciated). It would have been nice to know when I booked it that the included breakfast was not at the motel but across the street (and that was like herding cattle trying to accommodate both facilities - NOT impressed). The rooms were very clean, the grandchildren liked the water park, and we did enjoy our short stay.

Roomy, Clean, great price with great amenities. Water park was good, pool was nice. Breakfast was good, I can't say the selection was great.... But.. We didn't get there until 10 minutes before close.. What was left was good tasting food and fresh. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We made reservations at another hotel on Christmas day, drive drove from grand rapdis to mackinaw only to find it closed. I then went to crown and not only did they get us a room the up graded us for our trouble at no extra cost. My kids had a great time at the water park. I would recommend and stay there again.

Our stay was really great. We expected a 2 bed room and, to our surprise, we opened the door and found 3 beds. It was a great surprise! We were put in the perfect room to have two little kids who might like to run around the room and potentially disturb other guests. The food was good, the only complaint was that guests from the surrounding hotels also ate in the same area, so it was very busy and crowded.

It would be helpful to post the hours of the other waterpark- we planned to go after checkout the following day and were told it didn't open until noon! :( Water is very cold in the waterpark (pool water was a bit warmer). Overall, a nice hotel. Room was great! Awesome price!!

Room was very clean. The people on duty when we checked in were very helpful and very courteous. We did have a continuous problem with the TV's in the room. They came up very quickly when we called down to the desk about the TV's. The room was 100% better then the hotel we stayed in last year in your city. Would stay again and recommend the hotel to family and friends.
