We have stayed at this hotel many times and have never been disappointed. Check in/out was done by efficient staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Also, we particularly enjoyed being able to get the internet special rate of $79/night plus taxes at this time of the year. The complimentary hot breakfast is always appreciated. We did not find out until check out that if you do not turn in your room keys there is a $50 charge for each key not turned in. It would have been helpful if we had known this when we checked in. All in all, we're looking forward to our next visit.

The ladies at the front desk Meg and Michelle were awesome. We came in later on a Thursday night and needed a room for our family - 4 adults. They did a wonderful job of giving us a bigger room where we could all sleep comfortably. Hotel was very nice.

Upon arrival we were a little early for check in. Michelle was taking care of us at the front desk. Michelle saw my wife had a walking boot from a recent injury and found us a spectacular room overlooking the beach that we could occupy immediately. She then recommended several points of interest and restaurants we might like. The room was outstandingly incredible, clean, close to exits and breakfast room.

Reserved a room with 1 queen bed, was placed in a room with 2 queen beds. would have been nice to have the additional space. our room also reeked of cigarettes.otherwise nice stay.

It was a very nice place to stay. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. There was only one draw back and I think everyone would need to know the beds we're very hard. If you require a softer bed, then this is not the place for you to stay. I would though highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Site was clean, well kept up; nice location; very affordable at this time of year. Breakfast was fine, but we thought the short serving time was unusual. (7 - 9). Balcony with Lakeview was especially nice. Close to stores and restaurants.

This is a big old hotel that could use alot of updates and repairs. The elevator made some scary noises. Too much furniture crowded the room.The staff was friendly and it was fairly clean. The breakfast wasn't very good, we ate breakfast once and didn't go back.

Although it is outdated and needs updating it was extremely clean and very spacious room with a large bathroom. The breakfast buffet was great for a free hotel breakfast. Was very centrally located and within walking distance of everything. We would definitely stay again

Hotel is nice but perhaps a bit older than some others. The sliding door in our room was in need of repair .. opened okay but had to lift up and drag to close it. Beautiful view of Lake Huron in the morning sunrise. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We arrived at 5:30 pm and sent to a room that hadn't been cleaned. Management immediately sent staff to clean it and we were able to get in after about 15 minutes. Also, there was no way to lock the sliding door that led to the outside.

Loved the site and the room. We were assigned Room #449, which had a beautiful view and nice amenities, however, we were never told that an elevator only went to the 3rd floor and not to the 4th floor where where our room was. We are in our late 60s, so getting our luggage to and from the room was a challenge. Walking it was fine, but toting the luggage was another thing. Otherwise, nice site and lesson learned.Kathleen B.
