We truly enjoyed our stay. I had not been in Mackinaw City/Island since I was a little girl--over 40 years ago. The view was beautiful. The breakfast bar was the same each day, but was warm. We would stay at The Hamilton again.

Clean room, comfortable bed, helpful, friendly, efficient staff, good breakfast, lovely setting right on the beach. We had a problem with our in-room jacuzzi (on/off switch was broken); it was fixed right away. We vacation in the Mackinaw City area almost every year. Let's put it this way - I no longer have to wonder where we will stay the next time we come. What more can I say??

We have been coming to Mackinaw City for the past 13 years - usually more than once or twice during the year - winter - summer - fall. Each time we come we ALWAYS stay at the Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront as they are the BEST OF THE BEST that Mackinaw City has to offer. We've stayed in many of the other hotels up there but none of them even come close to the Hamilton. The rooms are wonderful, and the staff is always so friendly & take very good care of us. Even though the breakfast buffet hasn't changed much over the years it's still one of the best in Mackinaw. Only the Dockside has a slightly better breakfast. We recommend the Hamilton Inn Select to all of our family and friends & we usually bring some of them with us to find out for themselves how great it is. We are now unemployed so I don't know if we'll be able to afford a trip up there this year because they are more expensive but hopefully someday we can come back.

I would rate our hotel as good. The beds were comfortable and we each had a place to slepp. however there were no dressers in the room or tables to put things on. It was very inconvenient. the staff was kind and friendly and the room were clean.

Location was good. Room was nice, but it was to long ago to remember if everything was perfect. It wasn't a WOW experience or I would remember. I would use them again on a return trip. Finding breakfast was a little odd, the instructions, if I remember right, were confusing.

Very nice facility, friendly staff; we really enjoyed our stay. Very good location along the lakefront. Parking is a little chaotic and cramped, and some of the front desk staff seemed quite new, overwhelmed by the computer system, and not adequately trained before being "turned loose." Breakfast bar was a very good value and appreciated, but a real "cattle call" of confusion.
