The location is so close to the water taxi to the island. The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly, the pool and hot tub was great. The breakfast bar had a great selection.

The hotel room was very nice and the staff was pleasant. I think the lake side beach could have been cleaned up. I also think when we booked through the Chamber of Commerce you might have included free tickets for your sighseeing tour. Since, we learned the hotel would have given them compimentary.

WE WOULD HAVE LIKED TO TAKE LUGGAGE THRU THE LOBBY TO OUR ROOMS BUT WAS INSTUCTED TO GO IN FROM THE OUTSIDE. IT WAS RAINING. THEY HAVE A FABOULUS BREAKFAST BAR. THE ROOMS WERE VERY GOOD AND NICE AND CLEAN. A VERY GOOD MOTEL WE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

I would rate the hotel 4 1/2 stars. The room was always clean, the staff very friendly, a good breakfast as hotels go. I booked through your website. When we arrived, the room we received was newly redecorated and appeared to be a step above what I booked but at the lower price. The location is also good for walking to the various places.

Our suite of two rooms with two queen-sized beds and a bath in each room was the only set-up of its kind in town and just perfect for four women traveling together. The room was lovely and clean, clean, clean. And it was affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We plan to return next fall--maybe sooner! Thank you, Hamilton staff, for such a pleasant stay.

This is our favorite place to stay in Mackinaw City. Our family visits Mackinaw City at least once every summer. The rooms are clean, the buffet is good and nice to have a pool for adults (deeper than 5 feet).

We stayed at the Hamilton for our "Girl's Trip". We found the room very clean and the staff very friendly and accomodating. The location was great, right next to one of the ferries going to Mackinac Island and easy walking distance to great shops and eating. The complimentary breakfast was great with make-your-own waffles and something for everyone. We had a beachfront room and spent alot of time with the door open listening to the waves. Awesome time and place. We will definately stay there again.

I can't quite give this a four star, but it was better than a three star. It was just not set up right. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room rates were right. But there was just something about the Hamilton that didn't sit right with us. Can't put my finger on it. It is a well placed clean motel. I can't knock it. But next time we plan to stay somewhere else. Please remember this...we are not knocking the place. It just didn't feel comfortable to us. It's probably just us.

The hotel met all of my possible needs to rate it a 4 star. The room was nicely decorated, clean and well attended. The rooms were relatively quiet. The vista from the room was outstanding. The free breakfast was superbly handled without need or request for any item(s). The staff were always pleasant and accommodating and that was not just the desk clerk/management. I would return to the Hamilton and know I would enjoy.

The room was very clean, and well stocked with towels etc. We had a jacuzzi room and it was amazing. It was large with a comfortable bed and a nice tv. The breakfast is amazing. real food and great coffee.
