We checked in and he helped with ferry tickets and made sure there was still room on ferry and called a shuttle for us. He did an outstanding job. I wish I could remember what is name was. The view of the beach and lake was amazing! I don't think I've seen a better view. The bath tub was kind of dirty and the toilet kept clogging. The sink was small as well. We decided to stay at the Hamilton. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our request for a ground floor room. We were surprised to find they had a bike rack inside close to our room. I loved our room being right on the beach and close to the lake. The staff were very friendly. Everyone was helpful and the front desk ladies gave us several useful tips. Buying tix at the front desk saved us money.Several really good restaurants within walking distance and a short ride to the ferry. The beach view was beautiful. We loved the sound of the waves at night. We intend to return.My only complaint was that the laundry was out of operation during our stay. However, the staff arranged for us to be able to use Best Western's laundry in the meantime.
