We enjoyed the breakfast room,(a big plus with the eggs being added back to the menu). I also liked the breakfast bars, because I'm not a big breakfast eater, like my husband. The breakfast room is spacious for a group of people to eat in. I like to sit in the breakfast room to read after the closing time of breakfast, especially if you don't want to go back to the room or the maid is cleaning. I liked the shuttle service from the hotel to and from the Shepler dock. The girls that check you in/out at the front desk are the friendliest ever! We have had the pleasure of staying with your hotel for 25 + years, and we enjoy (our room # 332). The room was a bit humid but being on the shore of Lake Huron that is to be expected. All of the staff were friendly, professional and accommodating. The only down side was that there was work going on outside of our room overlooking the parking lot. This work carried on to 10:00 PM which was a bit disturbing. Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront HotelHamilton Inn Select Beachfront Gaye from Belton stayed in September 2024We were scheduled to stay on Tues, Sept 24, 2024; however, Delta Airlines changed those plans for us by turning our flight from Detroit to Pellston around during bad weather to return to Detroit for overnight. We could not stay at Hamilton Inn due to this decision. We were still charged by the hotel because it was beyond the cancelation deadline. Disappointing.
