Plenty of bath towels for multiple showers. I would give a 5 but the beach area was not as pictured. The free breakfast was lacking eggs but the ham and pancakes were good. You could also make your own waffles. Had to get there early before the food and coffee ran out.Room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Coffee in room was very weak. Beach area is nice with chairs and recliners available. Lots of Sea Gulls for entertainment. However, there were a group of uncontrolled teenagers over running the beach in front of our beachfront window.until very late at night. I want to give a shout out to Michelle and Amy on the front desk who Both did an exceptional job in Confirming our reservations for three rooms for one night, then one night on Manna Island, and then Our three rooms for two nights on our return. They answered all our questions about getting ourselves and our luggage to the ferry. They also answered our questions regarding the Mackinaw city tour and various restaurants in the area. I also wanna thank Jackie for working so hard in housekeeping To have my room ready. I highly recommend this To anyone visiting Mackinaw city. This hotel is clean and a great location. Beds and pillows were comfy. Free breakfast was good enough. Pool and hot tub water chemicals seemed off. Front desk was friendly and helpful. When I needed to make a change to my reservation they were very helpful and courteous. During check, the lady remembered talking with me on the phone and made a reference to our conversation. The beds were comfortable with ample pillows. There were a few cosmetic issues that prevents me from giving it a 5 star - specifically, the balcony could use some care and maintenance. The room was missing a drain plug, the shower grab bar grab bar prong were unattached. The whole room was cheaper feeling. We will try another place next time. Garbages full, orange juice empty one morning, milk and cereal empty the next. They answered any questions we had and made sure our expectations were met and we had what we needed. Breakfast leaves something to be desired (so few options at all). Room was clean and spacious. Hotel could use some updating as it is well worn and appears to be the primary year-round hotel option (covering the off-season).
