We were in desperate need to get away for a change of scenery. This hotel was recommended by several of my friends. We booked a king size room with a Jacuzzi and when we checked in they upgraded us to a newer room. We absolutely loved it!

We did not stay there but if we had, based on my conversation in which I had to cancel our reservation due to Covid, I know it would have been wonderful. The gentleman that cancelled our reservation was very helpful and kind. We will be rescheduling our trip again in the future and plan to stay at the Hamilton Inn Beachfront for sure!

Compared to the super 8 "bridgeview" the hamilton was great! Loved the view from the balcony! The room was clean and organized and looked to be well maintained and the staff were friendly. Will be staying again

The guy that checked me in I didn’t get his names but because of him he made me feel so much better once I got there . He was gentle and very nice and had good conversation . The housekeepers did an amazing job keeping my hotel room clean and the sheets on the bed sheets where very very clean. This is my first time not having to use my own covers or sheets. This hotel was a great stay. The only things that could be better is the other woman staff they where less friendly and welcoming just my opinion. Overall I enjoyed myself.

I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming attitude of the staff. I had to spend the night for business, and I had been warned about Traverse City's reaction to outsiders coming in, and I was prepared for a similar experience in Mackinaw, that never happened!

Very friendly and accommodating staff and the room was great, too. We very much appreciated the continued availability of breakfast in these challenging times, but were kind of disappointed in the variety available - not too many grab-and-go options (yogurts, cereals, muffins/donuts, etc.). The hot breakfast, while again appreciated, wasn't great - the same thing both days and not very good (particularly the sausage patties). Still, we would return and just order breakfast from outside or go somewhere.

The gal at the front desk was so very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean, the pool area was great and we loved seeing families having fun. For price was fantastic and we were so glad we chose Mackinaw City as our get away location once again. It was so fun visiting in the off season and comparing the town between July and March.

My family enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and spacious. The jacuzzi tub was a favorite of our children. Our view was fantastic overlooking the water (even in frigid temps and blowing snow). The only minor issue was that the pool didn't open until 10am. I don't know if that is inly during the winter but it definitely changed our plans a bit. We will be staying again though and hopefully soon!

I was thankful how accommodating the front desk was. I was on crutches, with some knee issues. We had already booked a main floor room, but after checking in they were able to find us a closer room so that breakfast, the parking lot, etc. would be much closer. I was very happy with our stay, they were very helpful. We will be back.
