The room was immaculate with a beautiful view. Only downsides were lack of house keeping during our 5 night stay to empty trash and our bubble jets in the jacuzzi tub didnt work. Other than these 2 minor inconveniences, we were beyond happy with our stay. Excellent price, good breakfast, quiet, and relaxing.

I enjoyed the view and the breakfast was a great start of the day. I would of preferred a little variety as the menu stayed the same for all three days that we were there. The view of Lake Huron was fantastic and the sunrise/sunset was very colorful. We took a history tour on the trolley which was very informative and beautiful since we went across the bridge. I would have preferred a tape as our guide would forget where he was during his talk. This happened three times. Plus before he would start his speech he would lecture us about not talking and none of us did. He still forgot his train of thought.

This place is magical. For just over $100 I received a beautiful room with a jet tub, great bed, and a balcony that led right onto the beach. The employees were also all so sweet and welcoming. They definitely earned a returning guest from this trip.

Nice location. Close to boats to the island and restaurants. Nice enough room. We had a room on the 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking the lake. Nice enough room. Breakfast was a typical hotel free breakfast. We had a Jacuzzi in our room. It was in the bathroom. Can't really say anything bad about it. That is why I gave it 5 stars. It was walking distance to town. We stayed 2 nights in October.

Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff, location, location, location!! We had a first floor lakefront room with a patio, within 15 feet of the water, watched the sunrise thru dark November clouds. Hotel is on the south end of the main strip in town, would probably be quieter in the busier summer season, but town was very quiet during our stay, lots of seasonal places shuttered for the winter! Plus, the 3rd floor breakfast room is massive, breakfast buffet was so tasty, lots to choose from! We will def keep this hotel on our list of do-overs!!

This is our third year staying at the Hamilton. We like the central location and price. The view is stunning on lake Huron, especially in the early morning sunrise. This is one of our annual color getaways and is always welcome. Though it was a bit chilly&rainy and the lake was rough, we still enjoyed our time. We are not fans of 'Surveys' every time we do the simplest things but, thought that you should see this one.

Pros. The room was very clean and nice. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast every morning. Easy excess. Cons. Room lighting is on the dark side. Screen slider was noisy and hard to slide.
