Room was clean, adequately appointed, and with an excellent view. All essentials were present. Staff was friendly. Only problem was that both the sink and tub drains were nearly plugged and took extended time to drain. Miss the old breakfast buffet and hope it is back soon.

The staff were so kind and helpful. Ashley was gracious and has such a pleasant personality! The location of the room - a balcony view of the beach/water was perfect. The room itself could use some upgrades and minor maintenance which we need ruined when we checked out. The unfortunate situation was a group of people who were playing loud music on the beach after 10pm and having a fire (on which they continued to pour starter fluid - which had an awful smell coming right into our room). We couldn’t enjoy the relaxing sounds of the water and were gagged by the smell.

Our stay was good, but room was old and needed some repairs for the price. However, did enjoy being on the beachfront so saw some spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Lastly, the receptionist at the front desk was not very cordial nor could we understand her very well. However, we did understand that staffing at the motels/hotels is limited due to pandemic so the staff are probably over worked…

I would say that it was a 2.5 star but can't rate it on the scale. The price was good compare to others around but i guess you get what you pay for. The room was clean but in desperate need of repair because of the staining on the ceiling and caulking in the bathroom. The screen doors going outside was either missing or ripped up on three of the rooms we looked at. We stayed for 5 nights and they said they would have it fixed but never happened so we couldn't have sliding door open in the beautiful weather we had all week. I would say spend the extra money for a better hotel experience.

Very clean room; enjoyed our lakeside room. Beach could have been cleaner. Staff should have been more knowledgeable/ helpful with how to use the extra packages we had selected when reserving the room. We ended up paying full price for the Ugly Anne cruise because the desk staff could not help us with the cruise reservation. Booking the trolley tour was a nightmare, so we ended up not doing that. The people at the trolley office were extremely rude.

Easy access to downtown and the Mackinac bridge. The rates were very reasonable. If it hadn't rained the beach would have been fun to lay back. Their desk help was very good getting our tickets on the ferry to the island.

Excellent views of the lake from our balcony room. The beds were comfortable in this room. The door latch/catch-plate was broken on our door; it was usable for locking the door but we had to hold it up each time closing the door to make the latch catch. We did inform the front desk of this to hopefully fix it for future guests. The patio door screen was almost torn out of the frame on 2 sides; it didn't affect the usage but will let bugs in if not fixed. The "inside" air conditioner was basically a joke for this room. It never cooled the room at all! The remote showed that our room was 81 or higher the whole time we were there. I don't think the room was that warm at night but it never cooled off either for a 4th-floor room.

Checked in late at the hotel next door as I was told to do and it took an INSANE amount of time. At least thirty minutes. I think the computer was slow. Room was nice and on the water. Beautiful view for a very cheap price. Room was clean but VERY dated. Carpet was worn bare in several spots. TV sounded hollow and tinny but honestly, the bed was comfortable and I consider it a value for the money.

In general, the room, pool, jacuzzi and overall stay (4 nights) was great. We were a bit disappointed in not having maid service during our stay. Although it’s due to COVID, it was still a slight inconvenience to run to the front desk for clean towels and such. Overall tho, we enjoyed our stay and plan to return in August. ☺️

The stay was good. Limited service due to Covid but, we still enjoyed our stay. The manager at the front desk advised me to contact the Chamber in regards to getting my funds back from the adult carriage tour and Fort Mackinaw that I purchase but due to the rude and Fort being booked up for the day, we were unable to use the tickets we purchase. The manager at the front desk signed the tickets stating they were not used so the Mackinaw City Chamber could give us a refund. We found the Quality Inn on S. Huron Street to be very nice and spacious. We were on our way to Hancock in the Upper Peninsula to spend time with our grandson abd great grandson to celebrate his 1st birthday. Mackinaw City is only about 6 hour away so we decided to stay the night there and we are glad we did. The view of Lake Huron was beautiful. The rate that we got through your website was quite a bit lower than any other site that we tried. Thank you for a most pleasant stay. We look forward to staying in Mackinaw City again.
