Very friendly innkeepers, they took the time to chat a bit and were available. The room and the bathroom was clean. The inn was around the corner from the main street so it wasn't so busy, very relaxed. It was fun to sit on the porch and watch the horse and carriage tours go by. The courtyard was very pretty.

I was in a premium lake view double queen with balcony. The staff is trying extra hard to improve the hotel's reputation. While obviously under staffed, everyone made a huge effort to get things done. My room was clean. A friend was in a less clean room, but it was acceptable to her. There were numerous small problems and breakdowns. For example, one day the elevator broke. A tech dealt with it very, very quickly. All issues reported were resolved. This hotel's staff is working hard to get it back on track, despite needing renovation. I was impressed.

Over all the room was great. Lots of flying insects couldn't use the balcony at night due to the bugs coming in the room. Would have been better if there was big zappers outside the rooms. Mackinac is a beautiful place my family had a great time.

Hotel is located on beautiful Lake Huron with easy access to lovely sandy beach. Our room was more than adequate for two people. Breakfast was what is expected at a Quality Inn. We would definitely choose this hotel when traveling to this area again.

Hotel staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. It was our 25th anniversary and they upgraded our hotel stay from courtside to waterfront. That was very nice of them to do so on a busy Friday night. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean, though there were a few ants that's not surprising given the location. Beds were comfortable, the internet was working the majority of the time, and the breakfast was decent. Nothing was particularly amazing but everything was good.

The lady at the front desk was less that courteous upon our arrival and warmed to us during the visit, but she needs to remember that she is the first point of contact for the hotel. Her first impression could warrant a negative rating. All the rest of our stay was quite enjoyable.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff friendly, breakfast food was warm, plentiful and good. We had a corner, balcony water view room. We could see the bridge and the island. Had rain at night, so we couldn't do a bonfire, or sit on the balcony at night. Price was reasonable and we would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and neat. Breakfast was very good. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Our room was much smaller than we anticipated, but I would definitely stay here again. Room size was the only reason I rated this "good". Other than that, I would say "excellent"!
