We loved the hotel . . . our room was not part of the main hotel, rather an older motel room on property. It was lovely, we had a King and 2 Queen beds - granddaughters (14 & 10) were so excited to each have their own bed in a hotel/motel. Our unit was next to the building housing the pool and directly across the street/drive from the continental breakfast. Latoya (I believe that was her name, she is from Jamaica) was a great representative to your hotel. She was very friendly, very professional, very helpful. Thank you.

We had a king size bed and balcony facing the lake. The view of the Bridge and ferry service and the island were a delight for us. We didn't go down to the beach but it looked very inviting and we'll maintained. Fire pits and beach furniture made it very tempting but we didn't bring our swim wear. I thought the continental breakfast was adequate and I would recommend Mackinac City as a vacation destination to my friends.

My friend and I stay there every year for a girls weekend in June and have always been happy with our stay there. The only reason I didn't give it an "outstanding" was the poor wi-fi connection. We stayed 3 nights- and never got a good connection that lasted more than a few minutes. Other than that, we had a great stay- very comfortable beds and pillows, lake view, breakfast, etc.

For $49 per night on a Sunday and Monday (single bed courtside room) this was a great value. Breakfast was very good, and they even had an ice machine just like the ones at work, UPS. I didn't get around to using the pool, but I noticed people were using it. The room was very clean and even had a small fridge. Next time I visit Mackinac Island I will book at this same motel.

The view was really nice over the water and it was nice to have the balcony. The included breakfast was excellent as well. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed it. It wasn't anything overly special... it won't rate as a 5 star hotel, but it was a great location with a great price. I'll definitely not hesitate to stay here again.

Although I called to let them know that I was running late and it would be after midnight when I got there, they had given the room I had reserved to another guest. They were able to move us around to another room that met our needs but it was not lakefront and it was around 2:30 a.m. before we could get settled for the night.

This is my second stay at this hotel. Although it could use an update, my inclination is that I will always select a hotel that is pet friendly over one that is first class. My pets are my family. The price was fair, the view spectacular--my stay was handled with professionalism. Since I also work at a hotel, I understand the need for customer service.

The only complaint is that the breakfast area was very crowded with no room to sit and they ran out of items but didn't replenish them very fast if at all. Our room was quiet and we loved our view of Lake Huron. We would stay here again.
