The town was wonderful and the view was great. The location was great! However, the hotel wasn't quite what we had expected as a Ramada. The breakfast was interesting and crammed and had spelling errors on items. It did stay loud quite late it felt. Found it kind of disturbing as well that they only had one staff member on at times. We went to shower and found we had no towels and so called down, it wasn't a big deal for us to go down to get the towels but luckily we were in a situation where we could.

The reception desk was very helpful at check in and throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast had many choices for the family. The lady working in the breakfast room was very friendly and kept tbe room clean and stocked.

The staff was great. They went far beyond hotel services. Having package deals together for the water taxi and carriage rides was a big help. the only reason the rating was not outstanding was the aging of the building. Tight doors and such. Over all we had a wonderful vacation on both the island and Mackinaw city. We have taken bus tours and they were so good we decided to take our family on our own. The Chamber of Tourism site made it real easy to find hotels including pricing. And to plan our trip. Thanks to all who helped to make our vacation planing so easy.

The room was very clean and we had a BEAUTIFUL beach! Only thing would maybe to clean up the shoreline a bit? There was a lot of goose poop.

We had a great time and we had so much room! A couple things for the Ramada to know was that the jacuzzi tub seemed to be draining when it was full (might need a new o-ring on the drain plug). Also, the TV would not go to a full screen. Thanks so much
