The staff is friendly. The rooms were clean however either of the fridges in our rooms were barely cool. We love Mackinaw City and we will be back! We would consider staying here again

The staff there is always courteous and helpful. My husband has Alzheimers. We have stayed several times at this hotel. they ALWAYS honor our request for the same room. the room is always clean. If we need extra towels, they are there. Alas, we had a bit of a plumbing issue, (OUR fault, not hotels) and the maintenance man was THERE within FIVE minutes. This year, it seems they made some improvements to the balcony furniture as well as the beach area. No, it's not a luxury hotel. yes, it could use some "updating". BUT we would not stay ANYWHERE ELSE in Mackinaw City. It is in walking distance to everything we need to do.

I would definitely stay there again when weather is warmer! Going outside to get to the hot tub and breakfast was brutal! The room was comfortable and clean!

Great hotel for the price. Great location. Walking distance to town. Staff was so helpful if we needed something.Only thing was the shower head was installed a little to low. But for the price and location, it was worth it.

If you are looking for a very clean and basic room it's perfect. The view from our room was beautiful. The location is perfect for walking everywhere. The pool area was nice. They don't have enough parking.

Room was small but very clean and hotel area was quiet ar nitetime. Did not need a lot of room as only there at evenings.....one desk clerk-a young man in evenings, not very friendly, not particulay helpful on the ways of boarding the ferries or a few other ?? asked by me. Answers were short, adequate, but terse.....no big deal, but worth a mention..

Very nice stay. Beach was great, we got courtside but we could still see the beach. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The only downside is our room did not have a microwave. We had bought microwavable food we could not eat.

I picked this hotel for its location. Great location. Car stayed parked until we left to come home. The only complaint is the pool. Yes it is indoors, but the description DOES NOT say separate from the hotel. Other than that, very nice stay at the hotel and the city.

We always stay at this hotel on every visit to the Mackinaw City area. It has a great location as it is within walking distance to downtown Mackinaw City shopping and the bridge. You also have great beach access right next to the hotel! The pool area is nice and the price of the hotel can't be beat!

The room was very nice for the price. The front desk staff could have been more helpful though in explaining the water parks, times the trolley was picking up and how breakfast work. I would go back though...you really couldn't beat the room for the price.

Sometimes, honestly, when you think of Super 8, you think of a cheap hotel, that will suffice for one night. I honestly have to say that this was probably the best Super 8 that we have ever stayed at, and would definitely stay at this one again. The room was clean, had a nice big refrigerator, and walking distance to downtown. What more can you ask for. Will see you again.

Very affordable and the cleaning staff went above and beyond by tucking my boy's stuffed animals in after making the bed. Breakfast area was a bit cramped but it served the purpose. Would stay here again.
