The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Walk to the downtown area, enjoy a drink at the historical Dixie Saloon, and enjoy the free nightly laser light show. Shopping and Mackinac Island ferries are within walking distance. Had the room next to the pool, and the room had windows that looked into the pool so the noise level was slightly higher than normal. Fortunately at 11:00pm, as indicated, the pool was closed, and the noise was eliminated. The rooms had a rustic feel, but the bathrooms were updated. Prices were awesome and it included benefit of going to water park. Would definitely would stay again. Score would be outstanding if not next to pool.

This was our second time we have stayed at Bridgeview, and we loved the location and also how friendly the staff was. It was close to the Star Line Ferry and we will be returning in the spring. Also our room was clean and very comfortable.

The bathroom could have bee a little cleaner- could use a new toliet seat some new caulking. Just little things. They should have told me the room was on second floor before- while I was booking it. We had three older family members in our group. The Staff was very friendly and helpful though, great location and brakfast was good. Room was very nice.

Love the location, in view of the Mac, but away from the noise and congestion of the ferry docks. Clean room, nice bed, friendly staff; even provides luggage carts! Didn't use pool, so can't comment on that. Would have given one more star if the "hot" complimentary breakfast had included eggs.

We have stayed here in past years & have been very pleased with their service. I did not give them outstanding because their Breakfast could use a little change & a MUCH BIGGER room is needed to serve it in. Maybe put some tables in the lobby or find another room to use. Maybe knock-out a wall to the next room to make it bigger. We do love the view from the hotel. Thanks!

We only stayed one night, but the room was nicely furnished, parking ample, staff friendly. The breakfast room was a little too crowded for our liking so we took the great coupons we received when we checked in and went to breakfast elsewhere. It was a very good deal though and just across the street from the waterfront and bridge!

HOtel and location was great only problem was we wanted to spend the day in Mackinaw city and have fun because we were leaving early in the morning the next day. Hotel didn't have the room ready till 3 pm. Said they would call when if it was ready earlier. Never called. We were in town for three hours before we could get into our room.

The rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast area too. We did not use the pool because there were more kid-appealing choices at other hotels that we were offered with our stay. (Nice touch!) The desk clerk, Carlene, couldn't have been more personable. She always had a smile on her face and was always willing to find out info for us. This was one of the best Super 8 hotels we have been to.

We were very comfortable and would like to stay for more days next time. We loved seeing the dogs in and around the hotel. The furniture and building was beautiful, very cozy and rustic feeling. The location was perfect and close to the water and the town. The convenience of the continental breakfast was perfect. We really enjoyed our vacation. We will stay at this same hotel again. Our only complaint is that we were kept awake until about 2 a.m. by children galloping up and down the hall ways. There should be posted somewhere prominently (not in teeny print that no one bothers to read) that no running is to be allowed in the hall ways, particularly after 11 p.m.

The staff were friendly and the rooms are clean and up to date. We stayed three days and used the pool and hot tub. The maintainance man at the pool was especially friendly and helpful. The hotel is located idealy just blocks from shopping and has a great view of the bridge. The breakfast is really good and we really enjoyed our stay. We will return in the future!
