The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Walk to the downtown area, enjoy a drink at the historical Dixie Saloon, and enjoy the free nightly laser light show. Shopping and Mackinac Island ferries are within walking distance. The hotel was not that busy so I was hoping they would put us in room with a view of the bridge, but they didn't so I was a bit disappointed. We also thought it was a bit strange that we had to eat breakfast at another hotel in the morning. Other than that our stay was good.

The overall stay at the hotel was good. The weekend was windy and outside our room the rain gutter was knocking against the building during the night, so that was slightly annoying,but didn't ruin the stay. The room could have used some upgrading, but that wouldn't keep us from staying in that room again. The view was very nice, and staff was very willing to make our stay as nice as possible, even at the end of the tourist season.

Beautiful view. Very nice and spacious room. We arrived late afternoon and opened our door to find that it had not been cleaned yet. I would have thought that the desk would not have given us a key to that room if it wasn't ready for occupancy.

The room was comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub was low on water. The price (after it was booked on-line) was upsetting when "additional fees" were applied making the price higher than expected.

I actually never stayed here. They called at 7am of the day I was supposed to be there and cancelled. However, they arranged for us to stay at the Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront. Better room, same price. Loved it. This makes me want to book a hotel room at the Super 8 the next time I am in Mackinaw City. Thanks again!

While this hotel is older, it was clean and it was good to have an adjoining room with the couple traveling with us. We felt that the personnel would do their best to see that we had a good stay and gave us tips on where to eat, etc. It is also very moderately priced for those who wish to save money on hotels.

We appreciated the low off-season price, the clean room, the free "continental" breakfast the next morning and, even though we couldn't see the bridge from our room, we were able to walk just a short distance to the shoreline and see that magnificent view, as well as reading about various aspects of the bridge and its history. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. We stayed at the same hotel on our return trip. Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to get down to the beach. The biggest drawback was finding a good family-type restaurant at a reasonable price.

The only complant we had with our stay there didn't have anything to do with the motel. The tickets for the package deal we reserved on line hadn't been delivered before we checked in so we had to wait about a half hour for them to get dropped off to the motel before we could start having fun.

This hotel offers everything for the traveler to "up north". My son and I came and stayed for a weekend. The location is excellent and the continental breakfast was awesome. The rooms were very clean and up to date. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Parking was more than adequate. I will definitely stay at the Super 8 Bridgeview again!!

The room was very clean. It was also a large room with a small table and chair for viewing TV if you didn't want to watch from bed. We walked over the view the lights on the bridge at night and also walked up to a restaurant. After driving during the day, it was nice to be able to walk to the things we wanted to see and do.
