The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Walk to the downtown area, enjoy a drink at the historical Dixie Saloon, and enjoy the free nightly laser light show. Shopping and Mackinac Island ferries are within walking distance. Not a fancy hotel but adequate for staying the night or two while seeing the sights in the area. Room was clean and quiet. Very convenient location - a walk to the lighthouse park, the Fort and great views of the bridge. Would rather stay on this side of Mackinaw City rather than south from the docks towards Cheboygan.

The staff were patient, professional, courteous responding to our requests in a timely fashion. They provided directions to us on our Lake Superior Circle Route journey. I am so glad my sister and I stayed in the hotel. It was our first of five on our journey and it set the right tone for the completion of our trip. The rate, cleanliness, and friendliness were all very good. My only problem while there was my inability to stay connected to their wi-fi. I never did find out what the problem was. When I inquired at the desk, I was told it was being serviced, which was understandable. However, I had the same problem the next day. My only other criticism (and this was very minor) was that their breakfast area was too small to accommodate the number of guests who were dining. I would stay there again, however.

Check-in was a hassle because they did not have our reservations we booked with this site. We had to bring up our email confirmation on our phone to get the booked price. We stayed in the family suite and all got great sleep. There was plenty of room for everyone. The pool use was okay but with no staff monitoring the pool area, one night 3 kids dominated the entire area performing some unsafe activities. It made it unpleasant for others. We had an RV so it was nice that they had parking alongside the building. I love the location! It was within walking distance to the lighthouse and Michilamackinaw fort. The breakfast was disappointing, especially for people with food allergies. It's definitely first come, first serve as nothing seemed to be refilled. When we arrived around 9:30am, 3 of the 4 drinks were empty. We did not eat breakfast there our second day because of this.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are clean and the pool was very nice. You can't beat the location. The breakfast area is very small, but is well kept. I have stayed at this hotel many times and plan to return again.

Nice hotel with the log cabin feel on the outside. Did state bridge view but with the foliage it was hard to see the bridge from our room. other than that is was a very nice room
