The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Walk to the downtown area, enjoy a drink at the historical Dixie Saloon, and enjoy the free nightly laser light show. Shopping and Mackinac Island ferries are within walking distance. Stayed one night, found room to be clean, staff very friendly. The hotel continental breakfast offered everything to start your day. Located right across from the Straits of Mackinaw, very easy to walk to the main street with all the shops. For the price of the room, I enjoyed my stay.

Great service and the balcony was a real plus. The in-room jacuzzi was fun! The bridge view wasn't really very clear because of a big tree.

The Hotel was clean, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, the pool was wonderful, nicely heated! The hotel is in a nice location we could see the bridge when we walked out the front door. 2 things I did not like, the breakfast left a lot to be desired and the sink was around the corner outside of the bathroom . I would rate it very good, better than good but not outstanding.

Because of one person, we could not give the motel an outstanding rating. The person who worked in the breakfast area was rude to the people who came for the meal. We noticed no one gave her tips, either. However, the rest of our stay was pleasant. We use this motel as a starting point for the sightseeing in the northern part of our state. The rooms are always clean, the front desk staff pleasant, and a beautiful view of the bridge tops it all.

We enjoyed a beautiful room overlooking the lighthouse across the street and the bridge beyond! Even though it was raining most of the time we were there. I also enjoyed the pool which was just right temperature-wise. The sauna was making some strange noises, but it was just because the water level was a bit low. I told the desk about it and was assured that maintenance folks would remedy the situation. We also had a nice breakfast the morning we left.

It was the week after Labor Day and apparently it was after "the season" and the whole first floor was under construction. Otherwise the staff was very nice, the breakfast was good and well kept, and the location was perfect. Just far enough away from the busy shopping area, but close enough to walk.
