The Super 8 Bridgeview is the only log cabin hotel in Mackinaw City. The Super 8 Bridgeview is conveniently located directly across from 1000 feet of Lake Huron Beach at the base of the Mackinac Bridge. Colonial Fort Michilimackinac and the Mackinac Lighthouse are within 500 feet of the hotel. Walk to the downtown area, enjoy a drink at the historical Dixie Saloon, and enjoy the free nightly laser light show. Shopping and Mackinac Island ferries are within walking distance. We arrived at 12:30 p.m. (check in was at 3 p.m.) We went parasailing that morning at 10:30 a.m. and when we arrived we were soaking wet and just wanted to change into dry close. We were able to check in at 1:30 p.m. and shower and get dry. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful; we had a suite which was very nice and the beds were very comfortable! Would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at Super 8. We were given excellent accommodations with a room that had a beautiful bridge view and was right across the street from a sandy beach and park. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi were nice and helped us relax after long days sightseeing. My 9 year old son really enjoyed it. Most importantly, we loved our balcony to be able to dry our suits, sit and enjoy the view, and to smoke our cigarettes outside. The staff was also very helpful, rooms were clean, and I would highly recommend it to others

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and we loved the balcony. We purchased tickets threw the hotel and there was no issue with those tickets and it saved us from running around buying them ourselves. We didn't have the breakfast as the room was packed. But it looked good. We enjoyed our stay there and the location was perfect for us.

Nice location. However, hall ways and other areas not so clean. The room was clean. It was funny to see flower border trim with outdoor wood theme in the room. We got a set of towels for three people and we were a party of four. LOL

We had a pleasant stay. The front desk staff did not offer any information about the waterparks or beachfront we had access to according to the website until we called the front desk and asked, and then they supplied the information and the wristbands, other than that it was fine.

Rick and his staff remember us from year to year. The room was clean and the staff proffesional. We have already booked our room for the truck show in September... Rick has honored our request for a paticular room for the last few years. We switched to the Super 8 because our pups are allowed in the hotel. We had three groups of friends stay here for the car show in June. All parties were pleased with their stay.

Very friendly and when we arrived a little bit early and our room wasn't ready they offered us an upgrade for literally just a few dollars (about $15) so we could unpack our bags and relax early! Very nice room, clean, and very comfortable. WiFi a little bit slow but that could have been a lot of people on it too. We would stay there again if we are in that area again.

Online registration was quick and easy, plus we could purchase discount tickets to many of the places we were planning to visit. This hotel is well maintained. Our room was clean and fresh smelling with a beautiful country dÃ©cor. Flat screen TV, hairdryer, iron/board, toiletries, coffee maker, and fridge were included. Beds were firm and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing. Noise levels were at a minimum throughout. Free continental breakfast consisted of make-your-own waffles, assorted cereals, oatmeal, fruit, bagels, hard boiled eggs, juices, milk, coffee. Hotel is located on a main street, yet far enough away from the hustle/bustle/noise of downtown. Walk across the street for an unforgettable view of the straits and Mackinac Bridge. A leisurely walk to shopping, dining, and ferry docks. Great location, great value, great breakfast, great amenities...we'll be back!

Great location! Walking distance to downtown and across the street from the beach and bridge. We reserved a room with a jacuzzi tub. Huge tub, but very little furniture in the room. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Motel closed for season after making reservations. I found this out by accident when I was checking on my reservations. I wondered if they would have notified me before I got there at 8 pm, or would I have been standing there at a closed up building. They had switched me to another motel " Hamilton Select", which was very nice. Hamilton Inn Select is the motel I'm rating.

We enjoyed our time spemt in our room especially the pine log bed and furniture!very nice since this was in northeren Michigan! Room was clean and was made up while we were out the next morning.I told her that was my expectation but she said others she and her husband had been too(not in Michigan)never does!We didn't have much contact with staff but they seemed friendly enough.Breakfast offered waffles although since I can't have wheat products I didn't have any but other visitors were.I was surprised at the selection of items offered. Our only complaint is the bathroom door was about 2 feet from the bed my daughter slept in!Being right across the street from a bridge view deserved an A plus!Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel

We were there for the Grat Turtle Race on Mackinaw Island and for our two night stay the room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub felt great after the 6 mile hike. The cost was very reasonable for this time of year. I would recommend this as it provided exactly what I expected.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left our experience was a very nice one. The front desk associates were very nice and friendly. The motel was extremely clean .We will stay here again when we go back up to Mackinaw .
