Everything was great, the ladies at the front desk were very friendly. Only two small complaints, one being the lack of vending machines and the second being the beds not being queen-size.

The customer service was really great. The ladies were patient and efficient and kind when handling our check-in and issues we had, as well as the other guests we witnessed. The hotel itself seems to need some attention though. The ceiling in more than a few spots, needs to be replaced or repaired. Noticed what looks like the start of black mold. In our room, the bathroom ceiling was not only stained with quite a few “mystery substances”, but the paint itself was also peeling pretty badly. The room was pretty decent aside from that. However the ventilation may also need some attention. The humidity in the room was very high even with the AC running. The outlets near the one bed may also need to be replaced as they no longer hold the prongs to a plug securely.

The room was clean and staff friendly. Building could be power washed by the windows. We were on the 3rd floor and there were a lot of cob webs in the corners when you looked out. Lots of tree pollens stuck in the webs.

Usually stay at the Fairview the prices are too high this year the value at the Bayside was great. Unfortunately no breakfast buffet again hopefully next year that changes. I always stay at your hotels in Mackinaw been going there for 15 years or so back when it was the Aqua Grand the Fairview that is. Bayside was clean and modern staff was super friendly I would stay there again

The service itself from the employees was mostly excellent. However, several thing in the room were broken or not working, and they did not provide breakfast as advertised. (Resulting in unexpected extra meals for six people over two days - a couple hundred dollars) I probably would not stay there again.

The rooms were nice but there was no breakfast beyond a paper bag with an apple, granola bar, and water. I really miss having breakfast at a hotel. The help at the desk were very nice. We had a brief issue when we first checked in and the young lady was very quick to remedy that. Overall my daughter and I had a very nice stay.

The front desk staff were super helpful when checking in. The room was alright, the beds were comfy for the most part. The door handle to our room was confusing. We weren't told right away that we had to lift up instead of push down, but the front desk staff were helpful when I addressed this.The walk to the Waterpark was a little long and confusing but we figured it out and enjoyed it very much! We were disappointed that they weren't serving breakfast but I understand why they weren't due to covid. It still would have been nice to have like cups of cereal or fruit that you could atleast take back to your room.
