I would like to thank Kevin & Shantel, not sure if thats the correct spelling of her name.They were very friendly & helpful whenever we needed more towels or anything else as we stayed there for 5 nights.And they were a joy to talk to.I do not know the names of the other two that were there the day we went to the Island, they also were very helpful.

This was one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed in in the last 40 years of going to Mackinac City. The rooms were clean and the water park that they had for kids was nice even though all of it was not open. It was probably one of the better stays that I've had going to Mackinac City and it beats all of the other hotels hands down.

We loved our stay in the hotel for 3 nights. The front office staffs are friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. My kids loved the water park and does have direct access to the beach!

Rate and location were great. The kids we had with our group loved the pool/slides and arcade. Adults enjoyed the beach right outside the back door. Decor of rooms could use an update and breakfast should be available on premises.

My stay was very welcoming especially since they allow dogs to stay at the hotel. The employee, Kevin ensured all of our needs were met and he helped us to connect the television to the cable. I would highly recommend staying here if you are considering staying in the Mackinaw City.

For being an older hotel it wasn't bad but it does need a little TLC. The rooms are small and feel a little cramped. The water park also needs some work since the 2 big slides are not functioning and one of the slides in the kiddie area was blocked off. Overall it a decent hotel and great location.

Room was comfortable and clean. We weren't able to figure out how to change the channel on the TV, there were 2 remotes there. Kids had a blast in the water park, but disappointed the slides were out of commission. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved being right on the beach and sitting around a firepit in the evening! Will recommend to friends and family!

Hotel is very quiet, clean and family friendly staff is great. Scott has the best front desk help. Rooms are clean and if you need anything extra for the room all you need to do is ask. Been going there for many years. It is a hidden gem. Prices are better than surrounding hotels

We loved our stay. The rooms were nice, the beach and Lake Huron literally a few feet outside the door, my grandkids had so much fun swimming at the beach and waterpark. We watched the fireworks from the beach with a camp fire. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our room and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable! The beach was yards from our room so we heard the waves ALL night. Only drawbacks were kind of uncomfortable chairs and (for me) high beds!

Room was older but clean and nice. Staff was very friendly. Insulation must be thin because it was a little loud. Slides didnt work in water park. Beach was great. No breakfast. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathroom was nice.

We loved having a lakeside view and our own personal balcony -it was perfect for fireworks. However when we got there, there was only one bath towel; my husband and I each went to the front desk on separate occasions asking for towels and we did not receive them. Aside from that the front desk staff was helpful on answering questions about ferry tickets and city tours.

I booked the one with balcony but they changed to sofa room as other one is out of stock . I liked the view and room is clean. My kid really enjoyed the water park want to visit again

The hotel was great, friendly staff and good service. I appreciated the coupons to other local businesses. It would be nicer if the big slides at the water park were repaired and operating, but we had a great time anyway. I would highly recommend them and plan to stay again!
