The hotel is old and could us some upgrading. Rooms were clean. Stairway to 2nd floor needed to have carpet swept. Don't believe it was swept during our stay. Enjoyed being waterfront and watching the activities on the water during the times we needed to rest and relax in our room. Enjoyed being able to see the bridge. Didn't have prior knowledge of the fireworks and enjoyed that surprise.

Hotel was great. Nice pool, nice room. Everything was clean and in proper order. Only complaint was the breakfast. They advertise a full meal but all they had was a few frozen breakfast sandwiches and some cereal and all the guest fighting over 1 microwave.

Motel is older but nice. Didn’t use any of the resort amenities so unfortunate that still had to pay for them. Appreciate they at least did a bag breakfast. Disappointed that there was no housekeeping. Had to make multiple trips to the front desk for soap, coffee, cups, and shampoo.

The Hotel was beautiful. The people working there were great and super friendly. My only complaint and it’s minor is that there was a very poor attempt to give some sort of breakfast. A bag with an apple, granola bar and bottle of water because of “COVID”. It would have been better to not give anything, if they were so concerned. Someone handled the apple that I was supposed to put in my mouth. Anyway I would stay there again.

Rooms were very clean and staff was super friendly. Only real complaint is the water slide wasn't up and running and the chlorine was super high in the pool to the point our eyes got irritated. Hopefully management will cough up a little bit of cash and buy the desk workers a new radio the one they have is terrible!

2 queen bed Beachfront room on 2nd floor. Room was great for the price. Room was clean, flat screen tv, refrigerator, nice updated bathroom. Beautiful view of the lake and Mackinac bridge as well as the Hotels own private beach. Definitely the nicest room I've ever stayed in for $100/night. The "indoor waterpark" was kind of a joke. Decent pool. But the waterpark was a few really small slides. Plenty of entertainment for a toddler, but our 9 year old girls weren't super impressed. They have 2 big slides that were probably really fun, but they keep them shut down permanently bc the owner says liability insurance is 2 expensive to have them operational. The arcade is also pretty much broken down. Change machine out of order. Only machine that worked was a stuffed animal claw machine. They have a couple nice pool tables in there, a nice fooseball table, a nice air hockey table, and a really cool two short lane bowling setup and the arcade has a wall of windows overlooking the waterpark. Problem is, none of it works. If they put the time and money into fixing that arcade and making the waterpark a little more impressive it would have been rated 5 stars. However if you stayed in the summer when the lake was warm enough to enjoy - you wouldn't care about the waterpark or arcade. Beautiful beach with firepits for the guests to use. Overall good experience and good price.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel room was decent and mostly clean. Light fixtures were dusty, sliding door to 1st floor porch did not lock, back up bar lock was not stable, faux wall blocking space under sink next to fridge was ready to fall off. Hotel pool was good. Lazy river was open but did not seem like it should be given the state of the giant slides and no staff supervising swim area.

We were very happy with the room size and beds were comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. The one thing I would change is that the mini fridge sat on the floor with the microwave on top. It should really be sitting on a stand. It very hard (especially with back problems) to bend all the with down to the floor and get something in or out of the fridge. Other than that we had a great stay.

My family and I had a really great stay at the bridge Vista, although I have a few complaints. Granted every staff member that I came into contact with during my stay were helpful hard working, courteous yet I can't neglect to express a few disappointments. The room cleanliness. There was visible dirt and dust on the floors, particularly the restroom and shower as well as the drapes. The swim area I feel wasn't sanitary. Again visible dirt ringing the pool and hot tub, by the way was freezing. The waterslide being out of order was disappointing for the kid's. I love the beach front and again everyone worked very hard but let us not forget to go that extra mile.

The staff was friendly. We would definitely go back. But for being a newer hotel I was surprised to see damage to our room. We had a queen suite over looking the water (beautiful) but our bathroom floor and sink were both cracked. The bed skirts on both beds were damaged and frayed. The breakfast was a bottle of water and a granola bar with coffee. Their water park was closed for the season in September. I would think that might draw people in during the off season.

Sliding screen doors in the balcony rooms need attention. Have stayed here 4 times this summer and each room had screen doors with loose or holes in screen. Reason for staying in a balcony room is to open door and enjoy the sound of Lake Huron.
