Cabins of Mackinaw Cheryl from Atlantic Beach stayed in August 2014

Very clean, new bathroom, roomy but we had to move a chest to plug in the TV. The refrigerator was unplugged and leaking water all over the floor. We would have to move more heavy furniture to plug it in. I put a tray on the floor to catch water. I would stay again, they were cute and we had a great night sleep. The other 2 couples didn't have leaky refrigerators. Great breakfast, not the most convenient location but free.

Cabins of Mackinaw Sally from Suttons Bay stayed in August 2014

We stayed at the Cabins of Mackinaw, our trip was wonderful. The hotel offers 3 other water park/pool facilities as well as their own and we tried all three. The pools and water parks were great fun. Our grand children had a great time. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. It exceeded our needs and we would definitely stay there again when we are in Mackinaw City.

Cabins of Mackinaw Charles from Saginaw stayed in July 2014

When we arrived we had burned out light bulbs and our TV didn't work 2 out of 3 nights. We did enjoy the cabin atmosphere and would stay there again. We thought the access to breakfast was very inconvenient and hard to find the elevator to get there.

We loved the new cabins with the loft. Everything was great. One recommendation we have is that there be a dresser up in the loft as well. We were with another couple and we were in the loft bedroom and didn't have a place to unpack our clothing. We also stood in line for almost 30 minutes for the breakfast on Saturday morning and decided it wasn't worth it after we saw multiple kids sticking their hands in the food and taking food and putting it back, so we left and went and paid for breakfast at a different restaurant. Other than that, we really loved it and will be coming back again!

The accommodations were great. But the lady at the front desk just wasn't as personable as I would expect. If she's working with the public all day long she should have on her best smile at all times! But we lied the cabin and would return in the future.

Me and my family had a great time at the cabins. the chalets looked a little ruff on the outside compared to the new big cabins up front but on the inside it was a very nice cabin and the bathroom was really nice I would definitely say their again.

Clean, quiet, and roomy. Loved the spiral staircase and the dÃ©cor. Front porch with table and chairs was a plus as we are outdoor lovers. Breakfast was wonderful and pool area was an added bonus. Will definitely stay again and have been recommending the Cabins of Mackinaw to our friends! (The only negative was the midge flies and that wasn't the Cabins fault!)

I have always enjoyed visiting Mackinaw City. I chose Cabins of Mackinaw because of my wife. She really loves log cabins. I am not able to give her an actual log cabin at this point in time but this was a good substitute. The place was clean and the indoor water park was good entertainment despite the weather. While the cabins were wonderful some of the other areas, like the game room could use some updating. The games were outdated and the controllers did not work well. The pool sticks were missing felt tips.

The cabin was clean & well-kept. The cleaning person did a great job & provided what we requested. Our water heater was not functioning at first, but maintenance was quick to take care of it, even though it was after 11 pm when we discovered the issue. All the staff was very friendly & helpful. The breakfast offered was very good and offered a nice variety. Overall, it was an excellent experience and a nice location.

Only complaint is that they were covered with spider webs, it would have been much nicer to have been able to see out of the second story window in the morning instead of seeing a mess of webs.

It was a great stay loved the cabin feel to the smaller cabins. The price was good and I enjoyed the location. I would say that there should be a bit more light outside between the cabins or on the back side of them. Not all the lights worked on the outside of buildings including ours so it made it hard to see outside. Extra lighting would help for safety. Other then that it was amazing.
