I am a retired Senior Chief and have stayed in many hotels/rooms in the United States and across Europe. From the time I checked myself and my family in from the time we left to participate in our FIRST bridge walk we couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces. I was asked politely if I wanted to upgrade, I was given accurate directions to our room, the room was immaculate, and any questions we had concerning the bridge walk were answered. My family was happy which made me happy and we have decided that next year we would like to make the trek again and bring more family members. :)

The room was nice and clean.The beds very comfortable..The pool however was over chorinated. I know chorine is important but I don't think your body needs to bleached.. I don't use that much bleach to color my hair. Buffet breakfast was great.

Nice breakfast. It was difficult to carry heavy luggage up stairs to the 4th floor since there was no elevator serving that floor. The waterpark was really nice, except that the water was unheated there and in the pool. Too freezing cold to enjoy. Otherwise, it was a nice place and reasonable rate.

They upgraded our room as I saw it cheaper online the night before we got to Mackinaw. They stated they could not reduce the price but upgraded our room which was fine with me. The room was clean and huge would book again with this hotel/

I dont understand the low ratings this hotel has gotten. The room was clean and up to date. The pool area was as expected. The hotel is within walking distance to many activities and I would strongly recommend it to families with young children. The waterpark was designed for children under 10. It was enough to keep my grandson happy and I could either go in the pool or just sit and watch him. My only complaint was the hot tub was too hot for all of us.

Service was excellent by front desk staff. However, I requested a lake view room and additional items during my online registration (crib and extra pillows) which were not provided. I didn't bother to ask after they weren't in the room after the long drive as we just wanted to unwind. The room setup worked great for my family, 2 adults, 2 older kids and a 1 year old. However, the family next to us and above us had MANY extra people in their room with MANY undisciplined kids that were noisy until around 2AM...this was a Monday evening mind you. However, no fault to the staff or the accommodations. Breakfast was OK and the kids loved the water park.

The Comfort Suites is a wonderful place to stay. It's very family orientated, the rooms smell fresh and the staff is friendly. We love the in-door waterpark because if the weather calls for rain there is always something to do. The guests are friendly and polite as well. A great place to stay.

The water park was wonderful and our grandkids had a great time there. The location of the motel was good too. I was a little disappointed with room. The closet was so small that it was very difficult to close the bifold door. You had to rearrange the clothes in order to shut the door. Other than that it was a nice experience.

I needed a room for three of us and the room had a queen bed and a pulldown bed ...that was okay but the big coffee table had to be put in front of the table so that was unusable which made it really cramped...breakfast was awesome!

We made the reservation late into the holiday week. Wasnt sure what to expect? Our cabin was the smaller ones in back since we had our family dog. It was awesome! Clean, nice, perfect size since we just wanted to be outside. Totally convienient! Will def be back! Staff was super helpful! Only draw back couldnt check in until 4pm! Otherwise a great stay!

The customer service was exceptional! The rooms were clean and the breakfast was hot and delicious. Water dispensing machines and hot water during breakfast time were often empty or not working. Water dispenser in the workout room did not work and the arcade area was often locked and not accesible. The pool area was not ventilated enough which resulted in a headache from the chemical air within 1/2 hour. We chose that hotel over others for our daughter and the pool area; we were not able to utilize the pool area due to the above. Overall, it was a good experience and we would stay with Comfort Suites again; perhaps looking into more the feedback from others when it relates to a featured activity provided.

We were given a room with a balcony which we hadn't asked for so that was nice. The room was okay but seemed dated to me. The 2nd bed actually folded into the wall and a sofa was in front of it. The waterpark was nice. Kids had a great time. We didn't have any towels the 2nd day we were there. It also should have opened at 10:00 am (my kids were waiting) but it wasn't opened until 10:10? The breakfast bar, although large, was very, very busy and I assume they served other hotels in the area as there just weren't that many rooms in the hotel for that many people! I thought it was ok but my husband that it was good. The desk staff was professional & nice but I wouldn't say warm and inviting. I would recommend it but I wasn't crazy over it. My kids want to go back again.

IT WAS A GREAT TIME FROM THE TIME WE ARRIVED THE LADY AT THE COUNTER WAS GREAT MADE US FILL GOOD AND WENT OUT OF THE WAY TO GET IN OUR ROOM BEFORE CHECK IN.. THE KIDS HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE WATER PARK AND WANT TO GO BACK AGAIN.....
