This is the second year we've stayed at the Comfort Suites. The only drawback is the internet connection is lousy in the rooms. We did discover, however, that the reception is great in the dining room on the third floor. The drawback to that is that only one person can use the computer as the other has to stay in the room to watch the kids. The staff were great and very accomodating and everyone was friendly, including one maid who helped retrieve my nephew's toy bus from the bushes and held it until we were able to get it.

The rooms were clean and very spacious. The free breakfast buffet could have used some work. There were more people than tables avaialable so by the time you sat down, your food was cold. Other than that, it was a great location. Very close to everything.

We enjoyed the waterpark and the rooms were fine. It is a little noisy the second night. We were disappointed in the breakfast bar. Overall our stay was enjoyable and we would probably book a reservation at the Comfort Suites in the future.

Things we loved about it was the friendly staff, the view/location, cleanliness, quietness of the hotel, dvd rentals in the lobby, the game room & the water park!! Didn't care for the murphy style bed, which wasn't in the room description & the free breakfast offered with our stay was very overcrowded, not enjoyable at all. All in all it was a good stay & the staff was great!

We vacationed as a family of 15! We rented 3 rooms and a suite. Very happy with our stay. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. The kids LOVED the water park. And the breakfast bar was excellent. Very good variety with the best waffles ever! Will definitely stay again :)

The location was very good, directly opposite the Star Line Ferry dock. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The room was nicely designed, clean and comfortable. The WIFI worked. The bed was more comfortable than any other hotel bed we slept in while in Michigan the last 2 weeks. And we enjoyed the huge hot tub in the adjacent building. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

The room was nice, but we found that the hot tub by the pool was not hot and the bike and treadmill machines in the workout room needed repairs. The breakfast was good but needed a bigger serving line (over crowded) Overall we enjoyed our stay at your hotel.

Outstanding. The only complaint that I have was the breakfast. Poor set-up and long line-ups waiting for the waffle machine. The one young black girl in the kitchen was extremely rude to me and embarassing otherwise a great stay especially for the price.

We were transferred to the Hamilton inn across the street which worked out well except for access to the waterpark. Having to go fully clothed with two small children there is no place to really change. There are washrooms inside the waterpark but it would be nice to have a changeroom before you enter. It is pretty hot walking into the waterpark fully clothed.

We had a great time. This was our 2nd stay in two week period. We first stayed the 1st weekend in March for a weekend snowmobile trip with our daughter and her family and had a great time so as a thank-you for stqaying with their elderly grandpa, we brought our younger daughter and her family up for the weekend of the 18th. We enjoyed our visits both times and plan to return again. Your staff were helpful and they answered our questions with dignity and knowledge. Every year in the winter my family and two others stay in this hotel for the weekend. We love that the hotel rooms have easy access to the pool. We also were surprised that after 3 years of staying here they know offer a large breaksfast right in the hotel. The outside cabins are a great look to the hotel. The rooms and service desk employees are very pleasant. The gentlemen that watches over the pool are very nice also. Plan on seeing us again next year. Mrs. Tulgestke Rogers City, MI

We stop here each year for the night on the way to the UP. Great Price and location. Kids love the waterpark, pool and we love the large hot tub.Breakfast included next day which is always great. Had a wonderful time at a great price during the off season.
