The room was great...very clean. the pool area, water park etc. were also well maintained. We have told other people about this hotel and plan to meet there again.Also, the next morning we had a wonderful breakfast before we headed back to the UP and our daughter headed back downstate

Our stay was not very long, we checked in rather late in the evening but early enough for the kids to make use of the waterpark and pool. Despite the pool itself being too cold for my wife, the rest of us enjoyed our time there. We also checked out fairly early, the breakfast bar was open and we made use of it. Everything was tended to very well, this includes the breakfast bar, pool area and our room. the people were very freindly and helpful, espesially at the front desk. We would definately stay ther again with no hesitation whatsoever.

The room was very nice and clean. we had the room above the Breadfast room. We had to go aways to get to our room and had no balcony, which would have been nice to set out side.other wise it was a very nice room. The Breadfast was very good.

If there would have been a restaurant on premises it would have been outstanding. Our stay was not really 'in season' so it was difficult to find somewhere in town to eat at 8 pm on a Monday night.

We actually stayed in a 2-story cabin at the EconoLodge which is a very short-walk to its sister property, the Comfort Suites. The cabin was brand new. 3 flat screen TVs and a nice jacuzzi bathtub. Our stay also included free breakfast and use of pools at the Comfort Suites. Excellent value.

Outstanding for the way we were treated in your WONDERFUL town and in the hotel, good gor the hotel, only because there was no room service, but that certainly will not keep us from comming back. We plan on making regular trips to that area. We especially liked the island too. It was very enchanting and very relaxing.

We were traveling with a 4 year old and a 6 year old. The motel was very nice to let us have a early check inn so the kids could get a quick nap before we went to the water park. The park was very nice for the kids ages. Our room was clean and very nice although a little hard to find at first since we were on the 5th floor and could only take the elevator to the 3rd. Only suggestion was the long long lines for breakfast in the morning but the food was good. We would certainly stay there again but ask for a room on a lower level.

The room was clean and the staff was polite and very helpful. Breakfast was well stocked and had a lot of choices. The only thing that was difficult during our stay was where our room was in relation to the ice machine. We could hear EVERYTHING. Ask to not be on the end of a hallway by stairs or elevator.

I didn't give it 5 stars only because the room we stayed in was above the common area and we had to lug our suitcases up some stairs....while tending to our two small children. We my daughter, her four children and I arrived for a get away. Our room was just great and teh kids really enjoyed the water park and pool. The breakfast feature is a great addition to the stay, our only complaint could be the long waiting lines to get breakfast and lack of table space. we survived and got tables and breakfast for four days.

It was really nice. The breakfast was good even though we had to go across the street for it. The kids had fun at the waterpark. I thought it was odd that one of our beds folded up into the wall, so when we walked into the room we thought we had only one bed. But the beds were comfortable and the staff was pleasant. We had fun.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Comfort Suites. We plan two mini vacations in the winter at your hotel and plan on doing the same next winter. The receptionist are helpful even though I know how get from place to place. The waterpark is wonderful for my whole family. The rooms are okay but I do have one complaint with the two queens size beds. The bed that pulls down I as a safe mom doesn't like the wood that sticks out. I am talking about the bed frame to hide the bed in upright. We had bruises on our shins from the corners of the piece of wood. We tried to watch our self but still ended the weekend with bruising. We introduced a few friends to our little weekend away and they loved it. Next year will make the fourth year! Diane Tulgestke

Enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful. Breakfast room was being renovated and we had to go to the Hamilton Suites - it was packed. That was a little disappointing. Also, I recommend bottle openers and corkscrews be in the rooms, if not, at least available at the front desk. Kitchenette in the room, but no utensils, plates, etc. Water park was great for the kids. We would probably stay here again.

When we got there to check in, we had to go to a different hotel to check in. For breakfast you had to go to another hotel to eat. We were on the second floor and had lots of laggage and there was no elevater, so we had to make several trips to get everything in.

The king bed was super comfy but the queens were just the usual hard hotel matresses. also the shower did not have any safty bars to hold on to and we could not figure out the shower turn on at all. we had to call the front desk twice and finally they showed us. I have never seen a shower turn on like that one in my life

The overall quality of the hotel was slightly above average, the rooms were decent and spacious, the water park was a tremendous hit with our 4 year old, she had a blast. The breakfast was subpar, but adequate. I believe we may return to this hotel in the future. The price was fair, but the water park would be the main reason we would return.

Worked great for one night stay. Was clean and comfortable. The waterpark was structured more for smaller children and WAY over crowded because it is shared with a lot of other hotels in area. The staff changed our room from 2 queen beds to a suite for only $10.00 over the 2 queen price. They then booked us for two more nights in the suite at a reduced rate. We were a group of four (2 grandkids plus us). This worked so good for us. We had a place to stay- clean, convenient and with a waterpark and pool for the kids. The beds and all accommodations of the hotel were fabulous and I loved the gal at the front desk - everything was "her pleasure" to help us. Mrs. Milt Schafer
