Whenever my wife and I are in Mackinaw City, we always stay at The Crown Choice Inn and Suites. We have never had a bad room or bad experience staying in this hotel. Both check in and check out were handled by the same young lady, her name was Michelle. She has always been pleasant and has given us the best room available during our stay. I rate this hotel 5 stars, and plan on staying there again next time we are there.

From desk associates were friendly and helpful. The only reason the rating is a good and not outstanding is due to some cleaning issues. The room was surface clean, but had masks behind the dresser and the tv, some spots on walls that had not been cleaned for awhile. Great location and access.

Very nice staff, offered us a jacuzzi room for reasonable upgrade fee and loved it. Will say, water park is very falsely advertised. Nothing “new” about it as advertised. Many things dirty and broken. Fun and functional, but very old, not new.

From the minute we walked in Michelle at the front desk was amazing! Kind, funny and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. We booked the hotel with a water park because we were u sure if Michigan weather but the was perfect so we never had a chance to use the facilities. Every restaurant we went to was awesome; the Dixie Saloon, the MonaLisa and Rusted Spoke Brewing.

The front desk lady was wonderful! Our cleaning lady was wonderful! The water Park was great as well. The only thing I would recommend would be the rooms need to be maintained better. We had wallpaper that was coming off the walls that needed repairing ( just replied back on)

It was great! Very nice room with a separate bedroom-one king bed room with a juccuzi tub and a separate room with 2 queen beds. We shared a nice big bathroom. For two couples this worked well for us. Very comfortable beds. On the first floor was even better! Had a small porch which we sat on a lot! We messed up the reservation and the attendant was very hospitable and got us this room. Awesome customer service!!

This is our second time staying with Crown Choice Inn. We came back because we were impressed with Michelle, the hotel receptionist, along with her cleaning staff who kept the rooms and hotel grounds very clean, including the indoor pool and hot tub that we used. Michelle has to balance all the front desk duties on her own, while always maintaining a kind and friendly composure. She is a Jewel for Crown Choice! We thank all staff like her who continue to come to work even when understaffed because they love their job. The least we can do is show our appreciation for them and be kind, patient, and understanding as they have shown us. Thank you Michelle, the housekeepers, and the managers of Crown Choice. Your service is truly appreciated!

The hotel was very good! i really enjoyed the spaced and everyone was super nice. We stayed in the sunrise beach motel the first night and that place should be shut down. It was disgusting and way over priced. I paid 189.00 to stay in a complete dump. Lesson Learned.

Nice town, people very friendly, hotel desk person was super nice every time we talked with her. My only complaint is breakfast I understand because of covid the hotels change the breakfasts for to go bag but I think could improve, bottle of water, an apple and protein bar isn’t a breakfast. No complaints about town or other business everyone and everything was nice.

I loved that our room was cleaned daily, which was awesome since other hotels are not providing that service. Upon arrival our room was not ready so we got upgraded to a suite, which was an awesome & huge room! But we were still hoping for a lake view room which we didn't get. I didn't realize when booking that the hotel was across the street from the Lake, so the lake view wasn't very good anyway. The water park was awesome for my boys (8 & 10 years old) I thought it was bigger in the pictures, it was smaller than I expected, but they still had an awesome time playing. It's definitely for younger kids. I was also unhappy with breakfast. COVID rules have all been lifted so I was expecting a real breakfast, but we only got a sack bag with an apple, water, & granola bar! They could have put in a breakfast sandwich, muffin, cereal with milk, or OJ but no. They had a humungous dining room to eat breakfast in but it sat empty, disappointing.
