Only thing to complain about is that the offsite waterparks were not the cleanest, nor was everything in working order. Not the responsibility of the Hamilton I'm sure. Their pool and hot tub were clean, well maintained, and were great!

Very nice property. Lovely reception area. Friendly staff. Clean. Right on the lake so great for swimming. Wonderful location...easy walk to ferry and downtown. Breakfast could include pastries or yogurt. But great hotel.

I stayed at that facility years ago, was very pleased with that stay, and stayed there again because of my previous good experience.Staff & facilities were excellent. I also liked the close proximity to the water & the STAR LINE BOATS, being right next to The Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront! However, I understand they were having equipment/scheduling problems. Therefore we drove to the Shepler facility!Also liked the availability of $ off money coupons that were available for several activities.JIMJIM Pacholski

The hotel was within walking distance to downtown Mackinaw City. Restaurants and shopping were nearby. Personnel at the hotel were extremely friendly and pleasant. Our room was clean and smelled great. Cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job. Would recommend this hotel.

Parking was easy and safe. Front desk employees were beyond helpful each day of our stay from the easy fast check in to recommending places to eat.They also told us they had discounted ferry tickets for sale each day. Didn't deal with any of the housekeeping staff as we opted to not have service. Location was perfect, right on the water with a beautiful view and close to the ferry.

Rooms were comfortable enough enjoyed being able to sit on the patio right on the beach. Desk staff were extremely busy. Would have given five stars if the external doors required key entry.

Nice room, comfortable bed. Balc"The room was nice with a comfortable bed, and the balcony was a great place to relax at night. The location was very convenient as we could walk to the ferry and shops from here. However, the construction nearby caused some noise and light disturbance. The staff was amazing! The breakfast in the cafeteria was okay, but it was very noisy with children running around from vacationing families."ony was nice to be able to sit out a night. Very close to everything. We walked to ferry, and shops from here. The ambient noise and light was the a downside which was due to construction near by. Staff was amazing! Huge cafeteria breakfast was ok, very noisy with all the children running around from families on vacation.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired and the first room didn't have any air conditioning at all. It was quite warm in there and there was no control to the air conditioning. All there was was a small fan.

The rooms were nice and the cleaning staff was great, but your woman who worked at the breakfast was rude and not friendly. She was upset if you asked her fill something or just ask her a question. We thought she was just having a bad day on Saturday morning, but on Sunday morning she was the same or worse. You need someone who is more friendly, especially with your busy season coming up.

Nice and clean but a little unorganized, we bought a combo pack and price we were quoted when reserved not price given and , the combo pack did not save any monies, and we had to cash the voucher in for a regular ticket for carriage ride so we still had to stand in line. that was not explained so a little disappointed with that.

This hotel was so accommodating! We booked our stay online and the room they reserved was only able to hold 4 people, upon check in the front desk went above and beyond to secure us a mini suite which could hold my family of 6 comfortably! We were beyond grateful! The only thing I would have liked to see is bacon vs the ham that they offered with breakfast.

Michelle at the front desk was AMAZING! Very friendly and always smiling. The room view was absolutely gorgeous. The reason i am giving it a 3 star is because the price we paid for the room was WAY more then the room deserved. There were cob webs everywhere, the room didnt feel total clean, there looks like there had been dust behind the coffee machine for years. If i am paying upwards of $300 for a room it better match that price! Little disappointed.
