The lake view was incredible! The beds were comfortable. The front desk staff and the wait staff at the breakfast restaurant across the street was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel rate was affordable. The rooms could use updating - carpet removed and replaced by different flooring, bathroom could use updating (counter very low, sink and shower updated, etc.). There was not soap in the bathroom. But the location was fantastic for taking the ferry over to the island and the view of the lake was incredible.

Its an older hotel, so probably needs a little updating, but we had a nice stay! We booked our rooms and Sheplers Ferry tickets in our package! Our room was cozy and we loved having the private deck to look out on the Beautiful water! We were offered a free shuttle to Sheplers and decided to walk. Not that far! We had complimentary breakfast each morning! No eggs or sausage, but lots of other things to choose from! We were also given a 10% off from Hooks Grill, not far away! It didnt amount to much, but whatever! Our food was great the first time and service. Another night we ate there, not so hot! They were busy, but we had a very rude waiter and the amount of food and bread was way smaller, and not as good! However, Id give it another try if I ever get back there. All in all our stay was good and we enjoyed it!

The hotel stay was very nice, staff was helpful (including Fifi), room was quiet, balcony view of lake was beautiful, jacuzzi tub was relaxing. The only complaint I had was that the bathroom toilet space was small and a little cramped. I would come back and suggest this hotel to my friends and family!

Room and rate was great. Lakefront view was beautiful. Only thing was the breakfast was Blah. Coffee and juice was empty and bar was messy, saw no worker while we were there for about 20mins. Maybe short staffed? But we will definitely be back.

We loved the location and the room was great. However, the ladies working the front desk were not very helpful or informative. Plus, our room was never cleaned even once. (I don't expect bed changed but I do expect light cleaning at least once during the four day/3 night stay. We ran out of Kleenex but were sure the front desk workers wouldn't help.)

Everything was good except the breakfast. It was pathetic. Not much of a variety and the only hot thing other than waffles, that you had to make was ham and two large containers of pancakes. The pancakes were like rubber.
