The room on the 4th floor was gorgeous. I wish we had more time to stay. Check in process was slow, causing us to miss the island ferry by 5 min.

Nice views. Staff were pleasant. The room they put is in was not cleaned so they immediately put us in an upgraded room. Beds were comfy. The water for showering didn't get super hot but it was enough. We missed breakfast as it only went until 9 but there are plenty of places to get breakfast near the hotel. Use the coupons they have at the front desk to make the cost cheaper. Overall our one night stay was nice.

Great beachfront view from our room. Clean and inviting hotel. Nice pool and hot tub, although the jets in the hot tub didn't work well. Waterpark passed were a nice bonus, even if at a different hotel.

Bed was very comfortable. View from sliding glass door was spectacular. Hot tub was nice, controls could have been better. Staff was courteous and helpful.

We visited Mackinaw City in late September for our 20th wedding anniversary. I selected the Hamilton Inn for its water view. We were not disappointed. Our room was upgraded at no charge at check in. The view and the little beach were so inviting. We had a fantastic trip. The hotel was clean and the staff was very accommodating. There was not a single thing that I would have changed about our stay at the Hamilton Inn. I think its by far the best hotel on the main drag. Its close to shops and restaurants. Everything within walking distance. Even walkable to the Mackinac Island ferry dock. I would highly recommend the Hamilton Inn Select and cant wait to come back!

Balcony room was great. Location was also very nice. We had no complaints.The restaurant across the street we would not recommend Charging $20 for 3 dry pieces of french toast is absurd.

Staff is amazing. fefe is such a wonderful and sweet woman. Rooms are always nice and clean, balconies were nice sized, lake view is gorgeous. Walking distance to downtown and all other shops. Overall great hotel.

I can't agree that this place should be or still be considered "newest" however the lake view from our room was amazing. Rooms were OK, didn't eat the breakfast but we loved the location, everything was in walking distance and staff was really nice and accommodating.

Checkin was easy and the front desk staff friendly. The room was clean and nice. The only thing that we did not like, was the air conditioning made everything from the carpet to our clothes feel wet. There was too much humidity in the room. We shut it off and opened a window. That helped. Otherwise we had a nice stay

Stay was nice, room was nice but didnt get the exact room we thought we were getting. Got the jacuzzi tub at which it didnt work and the breakfast not the best but over all stay was good.

The rooms were very clean. The rooms also had good quality of towels and the frig temp was cold so i could leave my insulin with out a worry. Last but not least the staff was very professional and friendly.I had a wonderful time and would go back to this hotel to stay.

The Hamilton inn was absolutely great everyone that works there was so polite and helpful and our room had a Balcony and it was so nice to sit out and watch the Boats and just enjoy our time I recommend the Hamilton Inn

The help was very polite. The room was clean and quiet. My only complaint is the breakfast. The only thing to eat were bread items, toast, bagel, waffle, cereal, rubber pancakes. There were no eggs, yogurt, or oatmeal. Left and ate at McDonald's.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hamilton. Its a great location to the ferries. And the rooms were very nice. We were especially pleased that we could get rooms across from our friends as we had booked separately. The staff made every effort to change our reservation so that could happen.

The add on line says you are pet friendly, you get to front desk they say no not pet friendly but well make an exception for a fee. Was not told about the breakfast or where it was. The room was good nice size, but way to hot.
