The staff was very patient, professional, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was clean and the amenties including lakeside view were great! I would highly recommend staying here and would personally return. Very quick access to the ferries to Mackinac Island.

Everything was great except for the breakfast..always out of food, only one staff member to serve. Longer hours would help.impossible to get two hotels occupants thru in 2 hours!!

We did not get daily maid service, like I thought we would. I appreciated the breakfast. It needs to be organized differently, to make the line go quicker. The person working needs help. He worked as hard as he could, but could not keep up with the demand.

Fifi at the front desk made everything very easy for us. Being disabled, in a motorized wheelchair, and in chronic pain, the hotel stay and events were all handled by her. I would stay again just because of her.

Front counter lady was a bit over the top. She told customer, if you don't have the correct papers then please step out of line so can help people who are ready. Hmmmm. The hotel was behind in cleaning rooms. A little tension in hotel. But beds were okay. Food was good. Hotel was clean. Fireworks were great. :-)

Communication with the Hotel was fantastic. The room was available and clean in advance. The moment I walked into the lobby the staff greeted my friendly and quickly and checked us in. It was a nice hotel. Breakfast needs great improvements...cold ham and pancakes every morning we were there (3) . Plug-in in the bathroom needed to be re-done because it sticks out from the wall where I plugged in the blow dryer. Our room had a great view...waterside. Room was pretty clean.

The hotel is very clean and desk checkin staff are wonderful but I gave it only four stars because the breakfast was awful. Mediocre coffee, pancakes terrible even fruit salad ( dont know what the fruit was ) bland. Fortunately we grabbed some fresh apples a bagel and made coffee in our room. We love the location so we will return, only hope they change their morning breakfast menu.

Room was more on the small side but was nice and comfortable. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location was great for sightseeing and restaurants. The best restaurant we ate at was Darrow which was off the Main Street.

The room was clean and easily had the best air conditioning I've ever experienced in a hotel! We had a balcony room overlooking the water, and it was beautiful. Our sliding screen door had a glitch our first night, and maintenance came up and fixed it immediately. The hotel was clean, the location was great, and we would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was nice. The only complaint we have is, we did not know you had to ask for service for your room. Even after we asked, we still did not get it. We had to go and get fresh towels, and toiletries when we needed them.

The view was amazing - lakefront balcony view cant be beat. The room needed some updating - the carpet was torn in a few places, handles off the drawers, jacuzzi tub didnt work, blow dryer didnt work, breakfast was minimal. Butcoffee was good, staff was friendly, bed was comfy, quiet, room was spaciousand did I mention the view??!?

Front desk very friendly and helpful.Room was clean and well stocked with towels. However, sofa has definitely been well used and we could have used extra coffee packets. Door wall sticks and is difficult to lock.

The room was very clean and desk staff was very friendly. However, the pool needed maintenance and the jacuzzi was not working. Lawn chairs instead of beach chairs or loungers. Breakfast was pancakes and ham every day. No eggs or fresh fruit option other than grainy apples. There appears to be one small cleaning crew for the entire hotelAnd they were struggling to have rooms ready by check in time. A little bit of investment in a few small touches could make this hotel feel like its worth a lot more money: pool maintenance, beach furniture, fresh fruit and eggs at breakfast, and a couple extra cleaning staff members would make all the difference. Overall it was not a bad stay, but we expected more from a Hamilton.
